Mary, from In-and-Out Design, provided decorating services to us during our kitchen/house remodel. She also provided us with the names of contractors to complete the project. She went with us to various vendors to help us make color selections, and also did some leg-work on her own to bring us different options. Mary was very helpful during the process of remodeling our kitchen and changing the color scheme in the house. The number of decisions one has to make during such a remodel is overwhelming, and Mary was very helpful in providing advice and helping us narrow down our choices. In and Out Design helped my husband and I redesign our kitchen and family room area.  The engagement included both the redesign of the kitchen island, the refacing of the cabinets and all of the hardware, selection of backsplash material, redesign of the family room mantel and the design and selection of furniture and furnishing for both rooms. I'm not very good at design as I'm a numbers person....  Mary was able to take what I wanted and translate it into design.  She provided a lot of ideas and alternatives for me to choose from to arrive at a pretty cohesive and comfortable space.  Our kitchen turned out better than we expected and we are very happy with how it looks.  We're still finishing up the work in the family room but we are happy with the work that Mary has done with furnishings.  She helped us narrow down a sofa that would work well for our very odd family room space, incorporated my favorite art work into the design of the room and selected tables that fit our unique style. Created a comprehensive landscape design plan for a flat fee, including drawings and photos of our home as well as photos of all the plants she recommended. Then personally selected all the plantings and coordinated with her landscape contractor to have the work done, overseeing the entire project.  Everything went great!  Her contractors were professional, fast, and thorough, taking away all our old shrubs and plantings, retilling the soil, and planting all the new materials complete with compost and mulch in just one day! Mary was on site the whole time overseeing the work and making sure that we were involved in any decisions that needed to be made. Mary is professional, easy to work with, and has great design ideas.
